ClubTrader Condition Guide

ClubTrader.com Condition Guide

In conjunction with the ClubTrader ValueCheck system, ClubTrader.com has set standard guidelines for  determining a used golf club condition.  Please carefully read each of the three club condition descriptions (Like New, Average, or Poor) to determine which one of them best describes each club before you list it on ClubTrader.com for sale or trade.

Like New

These clubs have been extremely well cared for and have seen very limited play.  They exhibit exceptional cosmetic appearance with only slight signs of usage.

Average

(this category makes up 90% of the Clubs listed on ClubTrader.com)

Clubs in this category have been well cared for while being played and used under normal circumstances. These clubs show typical signs of use, with no dings, sky marks, or excessive wear.  These clubs are very playable although they may exhibit very slight scratching on the face, sole, or crown.  None of these cosmetic alterations will affect the playability, characteristics, or integrity of this club.

Poor

Poor clubs, although playable, have one or a combination of heavy scratches, sky marks, or light dings.  These clubs have been played, and give the appearance of use, but the integrity or playability of the club has not been compromised.

When listing clubs, the following guidelines must be agreed upon by the listing member.

You certify that this golf club is not in need of any repairs

No payment will be given if the golf club has any of the following:

 - Dented golf clubs

 - Golf clubs with bent or cracked shafts
